Welcome to Bit-It! Our Slimy Start

Hey everyone!

After months of playtesting, tweaking, sketching, and debating over which Slime had the best poker face, Slimelings: Bit-It! is finally live on itch.io! 🎉

This is the first game set in the Slimelings universe—a world full of adorable, chaotic, and surprisingly clever goo-creatures. Bit-It! is our fast-paced intro game, built for quick battles, bold plays, and lots of laughter.

So... what is Bit-It!?

In short:
It’s a card game for 2 or 4 players, where you lead 3 Slime Heroes per round to win turns and score points. But the real drama begins when someone yells "BIT-IT!"—a bold move that doubles the stakes and forces opponents to accept or fold.

It’s a quick, punchy game full of bluffing, risk-taking, and surprise reversals. Just how we like it.

Why did we make this?

We wanted a game that was:

• fast to play but full of big decisions,

• easy to learn but with room for clever plays,

• packed with personality and a world that can grow beyond just one title.

That’s how Bit-It! was born—a mini tactical showdown with max slime energy.

What’s next?

This is just the beginning! We’re currently:

• experimenting with alternate modes and card sets,

• preparing updated art for physical and digital formats,

• launching a Discord server soon (come hang out!),

• and working on our next game in the same universe:
  Slimelings: Battles of Arcana
